Dental Bonding
Bonding in dentistry can mean two things. First, bonding can restore chipped, broken or decaying teeth, reshape or whiten your smile or fill in gaps between teeth. The other type of bonding refers to how bridges, orthodontic appliances or fillings are attached to teeth.
In cosmetic dentistry, the bonding procedure begins when a composite resin filling is first placed on teeth. Then Dr. Gallucci will colour, sculpt and then shape it. A high intensity light is finally used to harden the material and the surface is finely polished to achieve the results you are looking for—a natural bright appearance that blends with the tooth and improves your smile.
